My 2020-goals are the same as always

  • Read 50 books or more (so far thirty-freaking-seven)
  • Read 5 non-fiction (60 pages in in the first one)
  • Continue travelling the world in books (66 so far)
  • Lifelong goals: 1001-books to read before you die (17,9%) and winners of the Nobel Prize of Literature (38/116)
  • Continue on my list of 250 books to read before I turn 40 (180 books/1032 days to go)
  • Read at least 5 YA books in order to donate more to the school (one so far)
  • Read every day / write more (lol)

  • April: Roberto Bolano – 2666  & Kim Leine – the Prophets of Eternal Fjord (both read)
  • May: Horace Walpole – the Castle of Otranto (read) & Fyodor Dostoevsky – the Karamazov Brothers (halfway)
  • June & July: Vikram Seth – A Suitable Boy (working it) & Milan Kundera – the Book of Laughter and Forgetting (read)
  • August: Shusaku Endo – Silence & Thomas Pynchon – Mason & Dixon (both not started)
  • September: Ernest Hemingway – A Farewell to Arms & John Steinbeck – Travels with Charley
  • October: Charles Dickens – David Copperfield & Karen Russell – St. Lucy’s Home for Girls Raised by Wolves
  • November & December: Peter Carey – Oscar and Lucinda, Virginia Woolf – Orlando & Doris Lessing – the Grass Is Singing
